charging too much and not honest

I borrowed money from another company to pay them off what I owe .I called them to ask what is my pay off. They want what I borrowed plus interest for each day until they receive it and decide to credit me. Interest is 27.98%. They raise it when they want without asking. I'm not getting anywhere ,been paying them for years,done without to make payments so not to ruin my credit. On fixed income.Don,t know how they get by with it.Don,t ever get credit with any FIA.Exspensive lesson for me or anyone.
